- ➤ UIL realignment has updated district alignments for Panhandle high school sports after schools submitted their enrollment figures late last year. The new districts affect football, basketball and volleyball teams and set the 2026-2028 cycle for schools in the Amarillo area. Amarillo Globe-News

- ➤ Officials reported that dozens of migrating birds died at McDonald Lake on Sunday due to suspected avian influenza.
