- ➤ Tickets are on sale for The Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center’s annual gala Heroes & Legends: Striking Out Child Abuse featuring Ivan (Pudge) Rodriguez; the event by Chris Scharbauer will be held at Embassy Suites in downtown Amarillo on Tuesday, March 24 with a VIP reception at 5:45 p.m. Amarillo Globe-News
- ➤ Mom Prom will take place on Saturday, April 25 at the Amarillo Civic Center North Exhibit Hall, inviting women to dance and support Amarillo Angels foster care programs. Tables cost $1000 and general admission tickets at $60 go on sale on March 2 at noon. 96.9 KISS FM
- ➤ Nerf Wars returns to the Amarillo Civic Center's Regency Room on March 13, inviting kids ages 6-15 to run, jump, and compete from 6 pm to 7:30 pm (tickets cost $15 and blasters and goggles are provided). 96.9 KISS FM
- ➤ The Panhandle Council of Car Clubs will host the 41st Annual Make-A-Wish Car Show on Saturday, Mar. 7 and Sunday, Mar. 8 at the Civic Center. The event will showcase more than 300 vehicles & offer family fun while supporting children facing serious illnesses. 96.9 KISS FM

- ➤ Holiday World RV will build a 36,149 sqft facility (showroom and service shop) at 12050 SE 3rd Ave, with construction starting in March and finishing in April 2027 to serve local RV fans. 96.9 KISS FM
- ➤ North Heights Linen Service sold its 30,000 sqft laundry facility at 601 W. Amarillo Blvd. to Canadian firm Ecotex on Feb. 19; the new owner retained all existing employees and will serve regional hospitals (including BSA Health System) to boost local processing capacity. Amarillo Globe-News

- ➤ Wildfires burned across the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles on Feb. 19, prompting red flag warnings and high wind advisories. Oklahoma officials declared a state of emergency in three counties, and Amarillo’s National Weather Service reported that critical fire weather conditions persisted through the evening.
