- ➤ On Feb. 23, the West Texas A&M University Student Senate unanimously passed a revised resolution to keep the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum on campus and sent it to President Dr. Walter Wendler for review. - ➤ Potter County commissioners on Monday, Feb. 23, reviewed a proposal by Lennar Homes for Buffalo Highlands, a 1,000-home project on 160 acres that would use a 25-year TIRZ (tax increment reinvestment zone) to offset up to $60 million in public improvements after Amarillo declined participation.
