- ➤ Meals on Wheels of Amarillo announced its annual Geranium Sale, accepting orders until March 27 with pickup on May 9. - ➤ Tickets are on sale for The Bridge’s fundraiser on March 24 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Amarillo Downtown, with $200 main event tickets and $50 VIP tickets that include a photo with Hall of Fame catcher Ivan + live auctions and food to benefit child services for Texas Panhandle kids. - ➤ The Amarillo branch of the NAACP will hold its second town hall meeting on education issues on Thursday, Mar. 12 at St. John Baptist Church, with Rev. Anthony Harris presenting on population issues, district transfers, enrollment challenges and school consolidation.
