  • A three-vehicle crash on U.S. 60 about 2.6 miles east of Farwell killed Amarillo man Steven Ellard at 11:30 a.m. Friday when high winds blew dirt and reduced visibility—investigators said the mishap began after a 2000 Peterbilt truck partially stopped on the road was struck by a 2011 GMC Sierra before a 2008 Chrysler hit the trailer.  Amarillo Globe-News
