- ➤ The Center City Mural Run will take place on Saturday, Mar. 28 in downtown Amarillo, offering families, pets, and runners a choice of a 5K, 10K, or One-Mile Fun Run along a route featuring over 20 murals. - ➤ McDonald’s on Western Street raised nearly $16,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities, earning the store the Round-Up Champion honor among 27 locations. The March 10 ceremony celebrated the staff & management whose efforts provided 132 free nights for families. Amarillo Globe-News

- ➤ ALT Academy will stage 'Prince of Egypt' from March 27-April 5 at the ALT Allen Shankles Mainstage in Amarillo, featuring over 70 local youth actors and an ASL-interpreted performance on March 29. - ➤ Experts from The Bridge Children's Advocacy Center told Amarillo parents to watch for changes in children’s behavior that might signal abuse (eg, unexplained injuries or new fears).
