Bell across from United Supermarkets and next to Optimum—transforming the former Roll 'Em Up Taquitos location into a spot for customizable Mexican dishes like burritos, bowls, quesadillas and nachos with free queso and guacamole on entrees, and it will operate daily from 10 am to 10 pm as it works out its new system.

Amarillo Opera will present 'Cruzar la Cara de la Luna,' a groundbreaking mariachi opera at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, April 5 at 5 p.m. The production blends opera singers & Grammy-winning Mariachi Los Camperos to tell a story about family and borders, and a Fiesta Fundraiser will follow at the Amarillo Civic Center Grand Plaza.

In spring, Amarillo cyclists are reminded to follow Texas bicycle laws by ensuring their bikes have brakes that can skid on dry pavement, a headlight or lamp for night rides, and a rear red reflector, while also using proper hand signals to indicate turns.

Riders are encouraged to check their brakes, tires, chain, and lights before riding—important steps to boost safety on the road.
