- ➤ Southwest AMBUCS has opened table sales for its annual Derby Day fundraiser at Amarillo Botanical Gardens on Saturday, May 2. - ➤ The Amarillo Botanical Gardens will host Garden Fest on Saturday, Apr. 25, offering garden workshops, local vendors, kids crafts and food trucks for $5 admission (members and children under 5 are free). - ➤ An Amarillo couple launched a sober living home called A Place for Grace after funding cuts forced the closure of Cenikor's recovery housing on Sept. 30, 2025.
