- ➤ DISH Network removed NewsChannel 10 from service over a month ago after Gray Media said its proposals were rejected & extra demands were added following major events, and the channel remains available on other providers. NewsChannel 10

- ➤ Xcel Energy began solar generation on April 1 at its Plant X site near Earth, Texas & battery storage at Cunningham Generating Station near Hobbs is now supporting reliable energy during peak demand, with plans for further battery expansion pending regulator approval by 2027. NewsChannel 10

- ➤ Amarillo ISD has announced a new daycare center for employees, starting at Alice Landergin Elementary School. The Little Learner Academy (funded by a grant) will open in August during the school year with tuition fees for infants and toddlers, while a Park Hills location is planned for later. - ➤ The Amarillo Fire Department released its 2025 report showing EMS calls made up 54% of responses while fire calls were just 4.2%.
