- ➤ Child Protective Services is painting Cadillac Ranch blue—an event to raise child abuse awareness—with local organizations, children, and businesses helping cover the site. Jenn Sugg from the Rainbow Room said the display supports children who have experienced abuse. NewsChannel 10
- ➤ Residents who once faced homelessness moved into temporary housing at Transformation Park today, with 27 people—including pet owners—signing contracts and agreeing to 20 hours of community service per week. - ➤ Amarillo police are asking for help solving the 2009 murder of Sherry Mondragon, 55, who was reported missing on January 25 and whose body was found three months later in a detached garage on N. Spring after she was shot in the back and wrapped in a rug. ABC 7 Amarillo

- ➤ Dr. Jim Laughlin started June Jazz at Amarillo College after a 1990s jam session, and the free outdoor concerts have grown to inspire four generations of local musicians—fueling a vibrant jazz scene in Amarillo.
