- ➤ Amarillo Public Library, Panhandle PBS and local genealogical groups host a free genealogy open house at the Downtown Library on Thursday, Apr. 30 (4:30-6:30 p.m.) where visitors can explore research tools, watch Season 12 episodes of Finding Your Roots and learn about family histories including Revolutionary War records.
