- ➤ dd's DISCOUNTS will open in the empty Big Lots building on Grand and Bell St in Amarillo by early 2026—bringing discount shopping back to the east side. The store is owned by Ross Stores, Inc.—which also runs Ross Dress For Less at Grand Plaza. 96.9 KISS FM
- ➤ The Ace Hardware store formerly at 4705 S. Western has closed and now operates as Paramount Hardware and Supply — a change made as the owner left the Ace Hardware buying co-op. A new Ace Hardware will soon open at the Summit Shopping Center in the old Natural Grocers space to offer local residents another hardware option. 96.9 KISS FM
