- ➤ Harriet Dunlap knitted over 600 colorful blankets that comforted children in foster care served by Amarillo Area CASA for more than a decade. - ➤ On May 13, the United Way of Amarillo & Canyon gave a $25,000 check to the Amarillo Women’s Network at the Amarillo Club. The donation will support the Network’s scholarship program for local women. NewsChannel 10

- ➤ Artists, interns and students are painting a 400-foot Route 66 mural called '66 Stories from Route 66' under the Sixth Avenue underpass near the Multimodal Transit Station to share history. - ➤ Ceta Canyon Camp & Retreat Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony (joining Hidden Falls) as one of two Texas Panhandle camps that met new state rules to offer summer camp activities this season.
