- ➤ Amarillo residents are invited to a free sneak preview of the Iron Horse Shoot Out on Thursday, May 28 from 5-7 p.m. at 4514 Cornell Street, which features police motors team demos + food trucks ahead of the main event from June 4-6 in Canyon. NewsChannel 10
- ➤ The Amarillo Zoo reopened after a month-long renovation — now operating as a nonprofit — and now features a new gift shop honoring Solomon the lion, a refreshed bobcat enclosure, and an education center built to beat the heat.
