  • Thousands of Dreamers in Amarillo are still waiting on work permit renewals, with delays stretching from 7 to 12 months after permits expired on May 19. Immigration advocates say extra background checks & funding cuts have slowed the process.  ABC 7 Amarillo
  • At an Amarillo City Council meeting on May 26, city manager Grayson Path said landfill cleanup will begin immediately and real-time monitoring is planned as local residents raised concerns over fire risks and trash on nearby property.
