- ➤ Amarillo police fatally shot 41-year-old Justin Lee Crouch during a welfare check outside Walmart on South Georgia Street at 11:38 a.m. Saturday—officers said they saw a firearm in his parked vehicle and no officers were injured. Amarillo Globe-News
- ➤ On Saturday, Amarillo police responded at Walmart at 4215 Canyon Drive (11:38 a.m.) to a call about a man sleeping in a car and, after spotting a gun inside, an officer fired, killing Justin Lee Crouch (the incident is under investigation). NewsChannel 10
