- ➤ Amarillo City Transit and local groups have partnered to launch a pilot program called TAP (Transit Access Partnership) that will offer free bus rides to people with a verified HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) ID. The program will start on Tuesday, July 1 and run through the end of the year, with a $10,000 grant from the Mary E. Bivins Foundation funding ride tracking for future expansion. NewsChannel 10
- ➤ Today at Tradewind Airport in Amarillo, the annual Props and Pistons event—designed to help veterans receive trained service dogs rescued from shelters—is underway with final preparations in progress.
