- ➤ Urban Air Amarillo is partnering with Amarillo Children’s Home to host a foster care information session on Monday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to noon at Urban Air (7701 W. Interstate 40, Suite 700). The event will be closed to the public (RSVP is required due to limited space) as families learn about the new foster care program. NewsChannel 10
- ➤ Fill With Hope, a nonprofit in Canyon ISD, is preparing Hope Totes with snack foods to support nearly 1,600 students facing food insecurity as the school year begins. The group recently added a charter school to its service area and will hold volunteer packing days and community events on Aug. 6 and Sept. 5—measures aimed at ensuring kids have food for the weekend.
