- ➤ Urban Air Amarillo is partnering with Amarillo Children’s Home to host a foster care information session on Monday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to noon at Urban Air (7701 W. Interstate 40, Suite 700). - ➤ Fill With Hope, a nonprofit in Canyon ISD, is preparing Hope Totes with snack foods to support nearly 1,600 students facing food insecurity as the school year begins. The group recently added a charter school to its service area and will hold volunteer packing days and community events on Aug. 6 and Sept. 5—measures aimed at ensuring kids have food for the weekend.
