- ➤ Amarillo Habitat for Humanity will hand over the keys of its 122nd home to the Idris family on Friday for a five-bedroom, two-bath house on North Monroe. The nonprofit said the family earned their home by completing over 500 sweat equity hours and attending more than 30 financial literacy classes (fulfilling program requirements). NewsChannel 10

- ➤ Amarillo police responded to a crash near Bell and Puckett at 11 a.m. on Wednesday when a blue car turning west was struck by a white SUV and a black SUV waiting at a stop sign was hit — all three drivers were transported to the hospital with one sustaining serious injuries, and officers urged drivers to avoid the area.
