- ➤ The man accused of shooting a security guard and kidnapping his wife in north Amarillo was arrested on August 14 near Redwood and Pecan and indicted by a federal grand jury for illegal entry—he now faces state charges for aggravated assault and kidnapping while awaiting federal prosecution that will likely lead to deportation.
