- ➤ Amarillo officer Hayden McAdams was honored with the CLEAT Region 5 Officer of the Year award on Saturday in McAllen for his brave actions during the Polk Street shooting earlier this year—Governor Abbott presented the award on behalf of the Potter County Law Enforcement Association. - ➤ Today, Moore County Commissioners will meet at 9am in the Commissioners Courtroom in Dumas to hold a public hearing on the county tax rate and review future TxDot funding—along with considering a library board appointment, hiring a substitute librarian, parking limits in front of Kilgore Memorial Library, the Sheriff's fee schedule, an AirMed contract renewal, an opioid legal settlement, road and bridge issues and the upcoming county budget.
