- ➤ BOOM Adventures invites residents to join its Patriot Day celebration this Friday, September 12 at Piehl Barn in Bushland, where live music, food trucks + fireworks will be offered to raise funds for veterans, active military and first responders. - ➤ Governor Abbott signed House Bill 18 and House Bill 3000 at a fall conference in Austin to boost rural healthcare across Texas. - ➤ A CRMWA official updated the Amarillo City Council last Tuesday on the water supply by saying Lake Meredith has recovered from the long drought and remains very secure.
