The Pleasant Valley and River Road Revitalization Group on Sept.

17 voted to delay its bid for recognized neighborhood association status to build stronger board leadership and resident input. It will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the Living Rock Center on Oct. 3 from 6 p.m.

On Sept. 16, TTUHSC in Amarillo held a wreath-laying ceremony (part of National Physician Suicide Awareness Day) to raise awareness of physician burnout and suicide, as Professor Izi Obokhare and Anthony Brister urged medical professionals to address work stress and paperwork burdens that contribute to mental health challenges.
