GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Moore County Commissioners meet today at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Courtroom in Dumas to review an agenda that includes adopting a tax rate for Amarillo College Moore County Campus, donating a salvage computer and printer to the Noon Lion’s Club, hiring a firm for the annual audit, and signing a contract with the County Attorney — they will also discuss a non-exclusive license for an LGS license at $100 per month — and pass resolutions on highway matters. - ➤ Potter County Commissioners Court will meet today at 9 a.m. in the Courtroom at 350 Southeast 6th Avenue to review reports from emergency management, the county extension office and other departments, discuss a tax rate for FY 2025-2026, and consider grants and road work—agenda items include national preparedness and public safety updates.
