- ➤ Fiesta Foods is distributing nearly 1,000 food vouchers to communities in Amarillo and Pampa, including care packages for every student at Sanborn Elementary—vouchers valid through the end of November provide shelf-stable and perishable items to help stretch family meals. NewsChannel 10
- ➤ The 53-foot red fir Christmas tree from Nevada will be on display at Arts in the Sunset at 3701 Plains Blvd on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. in Amarillo+ its blue-green needles make it a local holiday symbol. After the display, the tree will continue east to Oklahoma City and on to Washington+ a Capitol tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for early December. ABC 7 Amarillo
- ➤ On November 22, Amarillo will host the first Harvest Hustle at John Stiff Park, where runners can choose from a 10K, 5K, or 1-mile fun run and receive a long-sleeved shirt, medal, bib, and meal plus join a post-run party with food trucks and music. NewsTalk 940 AM

- ➤ A once-empty building at 4206 SW 45th Ave in Amarillo will soon host a restaurant serving Mexican food (replacing an earlier plan for Thai Taste). The change is expected to boost the city's dining scene (more details will be provided soon). NewsTalk 940 AM
- ➤ Xcel Energy reported a power outage affecting over 1,700 customers near Hillside Road and Soncy Road on November 7th — power was restored just before 7 p.m. NewsChannel 10
- ➤ A new medical supply store called Brace Yourself has opened at 5215 Coulter St. unit 400 and sells equipment like lift chairs, scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, and braces for sale and rent. Owners Cameron Milner, Paxton Pierce, Kamrin Weets, and Jake Taggart run the store, which is open Monday—Friday from 9 a.m.—6 p.m. to help people move and live independently. 96.9 KISS FM

- ➤ Discovery Center is running Friendsgiving Day Camp for kids ages 4 to 4th grade on November 24, 25 and 26 to offer safe and fun activities during fall break. - ➤ Highland Park ISD is building an early learning academy, homes, and retail spaces in Buffalo Highlands to boost enrollment and support local growth—parts of a 10-15 year project that will also add a career training academy and over 1,000 new homes. Amarillo Tribune
- ➤ On Thursday in Canyon, about 400 people gathered to honor the Panhandle Great 25 Nurses with awards and scholarships for nursing leadership.
