- ➤ Amarillo SPCA is hosting Christmas fundraisers to help cover rising shelter costs with a Fill the Box drive at local sponsors and Santa Paws Pet Pictures sessions on December 13 and 14—pet lovers can donate supplies or pay for a pet portrait to support animals until they find homes. - ➤ Alliance Credit Union broke ground on its first permanent branch at 4711 S. Soncy Road on Nov. 14—hosting a pep-rally with local schools and community leaders—and began construction immediately.
