- ➤ Tomorrow, the Area Agency on Aging of the Panhandle will host its 19th annual Caregiver Conference at the Central Church of Christ Commons Room at 1401 S. Madison St with free admission but limited seating. Attendees, including caregivers, professionals and community members, will learn stress management and communication techniques and earn free continuing education credits while listening to speaker Hollie Lowe from the James L. - ➤ Bank of America awarded Amarillo Habitat for Humanity a Neighborhood Builders grant that provided $50,000 in unrestricted funding — the support will help the nonprofit expand leadership training and access a national network to aid more families in finding safe homes. NewsChannel 10
- ➤ Major Tex Ellis said the Salvation Army needs volunteers this holiday season to man 25 red kettles across Amarillo from Monday through Saturday to help reach its $100,000 goal.
