- ➤ Amarillo City Council approved a 15-year lease for Wonderland Amusement Park at Thompson Park, granting 360 Parks of Amarillo control over the historic site. - ➤ The City of Amarillo and Atmos Energy began a gas main replacement project yesterday, Dec. 9, closing lanes on Georgia, Austin and Laurel Streets with work expected to continue through January while the Solid Waste Department relocates dumpsters in nearby alleys. NewsChannel 10
