- ➤ Joe Taco has launched a new frozen meal program for busy families amid the holiday rush. The grab-and-go meals are available at 58th and Georgia (their local spot) to simplify dinner planning. 96.9 KISS FM
- ➤ Beaux's Blazin' Wiingz has opened at the former Feed Me location at 3407 Amarillo Blvd, serving unique wing flavors and vegan favorites. The restaurant operates Wednesday through Sunday from 1 pm to 8 pm and offers a loyalty club for regular guests. NewsTalk 940 AM

- ➤ On Tuesday, PPHS met with West Texas A&M President Walter Wendler, who delivered a letter asking for a written plan to relocate the museum artifacts by Feb. 1. The letter requires WT and PPHS to share monthly facility costs until PPHS fully vacates the campus. Amarillo Tribune

- ➤ At a special meeting Monday, AISD approved a 2026-27 school calendar that includes 175 instructional days and a full week off for Thanksgiving; board members also agreed to switch the district's insurance to the TRS Active Care plan, with changes expected between March and May. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Xcel Energy has partnered with Pano AI to install 57 AI-powered cameras on communication towers across the Panhandle that alert first responders to wildfires. The company will add 68 cameras next year to help fire departments respond faster and keep communities safer. NewsChannel 10

- ➤ West Texas A&M University President Walter Wendler has asked the Panhandle Plains Historical Society to submit a written plan by Feb. 1 to relocate its museum collection—citing safety concerns and financial constraints, the university will share maintenance costs until the facility is vacated. - ➤ The Randall County Commissioners accepted a plan by Stuppy Inc. to purchase a greenhouse (30 x 60 sqft, $203,000) to benefit at risk kids at the High Plains Youth Center under the county’s 4-H program, with help from the Kendall Foundation. - ➤ Pantex, DOE & NNSA announced Tuesday that they completed the last production unit for the modernized W88 warhead, which began upgrades in 2021 to refresh missile components that date back to 1988. Amarillo Tribune

- ➤ A new tool named the OD Rescue Box is now available in Amarillo to help stop overdose deaths—equipped with Narcan and smart technology that calls 911 and tracks high-risk areas. The box aims to boost emergency response amid rising overdose fatalities. ABC 7 Amarillo
